Based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, I have been delivering expert, evidence-based nutritional advice in both clinical practice and for the food industry for over 20 years. I have helped individuals with issues as diverse as behaviour based nutrition and weight management to fertility and menopause support.
I am proud to be a registered nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition and a Fellow of the Royal Society for Public Health, which is an honorary fellowship that acknowledges professionals who have significantly contributed to public health initiatives. In addition to working one to one with clients in Harrogate and remotely, I have supported businesses such as North Yorkshire County Council, Compass Group and PepsiCo, and helped to deliver national health programmes across the UK such as the Public Health Responsibility Deal and the NHS’s National Diabetes Prevention Programme.
I have a special interest in the gut microbiome and nutrigenomics (the study of how our gene variants affect our responses to diet and lifestyle); two areas that I feel will revolutionise the way we eat for health in the next decade.
