A bit about me...

I have been delivering expert, evidence-based nutritional advice in both clinical practice and for the food industry for over 15 years. I have helped individuals with issues as diverse as behaviour based nutrition and weight management to fertility and menopause support.
In addition to working one to one with clients I have supported businesses such as North Yorkshire County Council, Compass Group and PepsiCo, and helped to deliver national health programmes across the UK such as the Public Health Responsibility Deal and the NHS's National Diabetes Prevention Programme.

I have a special interest in the gut microbiome and nutrigenomics; two areas that I feel will revolutionise the way we eat for health in the next decade.

I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition, a certificate in Nutrigenomics from the Dieticians of Canada, I am a Registered Nutrition Professional for the Early Years Nutrition Partnership and a Registered Nutritionist with the Association for Nutrition (RNutr). The Association for Nutrition holds the only register of qualified nutritionists recognised by Public Health England, NHS Choices and NHS Careers.

Personally, my passions are (roughly in this order, but that can change depending on my mood!) my family, my friends, my dog, nature and fitness. I also get a real buzz out of helping folk to become the best versions of themselves by making better choices about food and nutrition.
